OUTreach is a grassroots volunteer-powered initiative dedicated to supporting Delaware's nonprofits, community spaces, and mission-driven organizations through hands-on help and creative collaboration. Our goal is simple: to bring people together and make showing up easier, more joyful, and more impactful.

OUTreach is a social volunteer organization rooted in Wilmington, Delaware, connecting LGBTQ+ people and allies through community service and shared experiences.
We believe that showing up for your community can be meaningful and fun — and that making a difference is even better when you do it together.

Whether we’re cleaning up a park, supporting a food pantry, or just gathering for a group hang after a volunteer shift, our goal is simple: to build a stronger, more connected LGBTQ+ community in Delaware — one event at a time.

This is just the beginning. In time, OUTreach will grow into something even bigger: a permanent, physical LGBTQ+ community center where all of this work — and all of us — can belong.

OUTreach was founded by Eric Hastings, a Wilmington-based interior designer and community advocate. Through his studio, Hastings Creative, Eric designs spaces that bring people together — from nonprofit hubs to cultural gathering places. His mission with OUTreach is to extend that same focus on connection and belonging beyond physical spaces, and into the life of the community itself.
